Our experienced care team monitors calls 24/7, all year round and has monitored alarms for over 30 years.

We provide our stylish, comfortable watch and access to our care team for just £17.99 per month.

Promoting Independence

Outside as well as Indoors

The Personal Alarm Watch helps older people be more active and more independant. Our device has unlimited range, working in the garden, down at the shops or even hiking all over the UK!

Traditional pendants only work within the home. They are tied to a base station, placed in one room in the house. We have worked with hundreds of older people to design the personal alarm they want. That means making sure their alarm never ties them to only being safe inside their home.

How Does it Work?

A personal alarm watch designed for elderly people

Put it on

The watch works straight out of the box. Just wear and go, there’s no installation.

Raise the alarm

Hold the button on the watch to get assistance.

Speak to us

Speak to our care team on a clear, two-way voice call through the watch, just like using a phone.

Get help

We receive your location and can alert family or emergency services to get help straight to you.

Why Choose Us?

We use a TSA accredited monitoring centre based in the UK. This means our team are trained to the highest possible standard in how to triage different emergency situations. Our centre brings 30 years experience in handling over 17,000 calls a month.

When a call comes in from the watch we will talk to you through it to understand the nature of the emergency. We will then alert the most appropriate emergency service or named contacts to help.

When you make a call

We Organise the Correct Help

We can hold up to three people's contact details for you on our system. These could be family, friends or neighbors. We can also record GP and medical details in case these are needed in an emergency.

When a call is made you will be connected directly to our monitoring team. They will speak to you to work out the best person to contact or whether to send the emergency services.

We make sure you get the help you need as quickly as possible.

Former TEC Services Association Board Member

The Personal Alarm Watch is an exciting innovation that allows the reach of Technology Enabled Care to extend far beyond the home.

When you live alone, it’s a comfort to feel you can get help when you need it so the watch is a big advantage.

NHS Occupational Therapist

A helpful product for those at risk of falls in the community. It was good to be a part of the development process from the beginning.

It's much more stylish and discreet than the white/orange, home only option. I like the fact It does not scream “gadget for the elderly”

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I contact you?

For enquiries about our service you can call us on 020 3868 5575 between 9am and 6pm, email us on or fill in the contact form below.

Does it get signal anywhere in the UK?

Yes, the watch connects to the strongest network in the area. This reduces blackspots to an absolute minimum.

97% of the UK's roads and 90% of all indoor locations are covered (Ofcom 2017). We encourage you to make test calls to our team in your first week and will happily refund you if your home is not covered.

What help do you send?

Our experienced care team will assess the situation and determine the best course of action. This can be anything from a phone call through to contacting next of kin or an ambulance.

Do I have to pay for minutes?

No, all emergency call minutes and data needed to use the watch are contained within your simple monthly payment.

How long does it take to charge the battery?

Around 2 hours to go from 0 to 100%.

Is it always tracking me?

No, we know people don’t want to have their privacy invaded! The location data is only sent when someone presses the SOS button to ask for help.

Why are you doing this?

We have worked with older people for the last 6 years. Often we saw pendants hung on the back of doors or squirrelled away in a drawer. We found that people just didn't want to wear a big red button and be stuck at home in a ‘safe zone’. So we came up with the Personal Alarm Watch.

Will coronavirus affect my service?

Resilience is an integral part of our service. You can rest assured that our 24/7 monitoring is operating as normal, you can get advice and technical support via email, phone or web chat and watches are posted fully set up, so you don't need someone to come in to install it. For more information, you can see a note from our co-founder here.

Is it comfortable?

We’ve worked hard to make the watch as small, light and comfortable as possible. We use a specialist soft silicon strap so it’s also vegan!

How big is the watch?

The watch is small and lightweight. The main body is 55mmx32mmx15mm and it weighs just 49 grams.

Any other colours?

We are channeling Henry Ford. You can have any colour that you like as long as it's black.

What happens when I press the button?

The watch sends an estimate of your location and makes a call to our monitoring team. They are on hand 24/7 to help and can contact next of kin or make arrangements to send someone to you.

Can we add family phone numbers to the watch?

You cannot ring other numbers directly. We've found that it's always best to have an experienced elderly care team that are available 24/7 to help, especially in emergencies. Family and friends can't always be ready or available in these situations like our team can. Family and friends should be listed as emergency contacts to be contacted by our staff if needed.
